Avoid the Chaos

29 Apr 2015

Albert Einstein-Avoid the Chaos

“Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius — and a lot of courage — to move in the opposite direction”

                                     by Albert Einstein

Einstein was a very late starter. He started talking at the age of four but he wasn’t fluent until the age of 9. His parents were very much worried about this until one night he emerged from his cocoon with while eating dinner. He said, “The soup is too hot”. When his parents asked why he didn’t talk before, he replied “Because up to now everything was in order. “

Often we can feel chaos is more prevalent in our lives than the “planned” bits. If the chaos doesn’t last too long then homeostasis is not disrupted. However, if it continues then a person is at risk of becoming run down, ill, exhausted or experience negative changes in their energy or mood. Many who come to DP Herbals are looking to re-establish some order and start by addressing their wellbeing.

We can achieve this by the use of the following:

Herbs – Also called phytomedicine -- refers to using a plant's seeds, berries, roots, leaves, bark, or flowers for medicinal purposes. Herbalism has a long tradition of use outside of conventional medicine. It is becoming more main stream as improvements in analysis and quality control along with advances in clinical research show the value of herbal medicine in the treating and preventing disease. DP Herbals only uses top quality herbs that are tested and retested for their purity and their efficacy. Herbs can be used to strengthen, tonify, rebalance, relax and fortify the body.

Supplements – Poor dietary choices, medications, lifestyle, exercise, pregnancy, stress, toxicity and infection can increase the body’s requirements for extra nutrients. Supplements should always be from a pure source and be formulated in a way that gives the user greatest bioavailability.

Diet – So important this one! If a person continues ingesting food that they have an unknown intolerance/allergy to or if their diet is imbalanced in anyway then this must be addressed. If you want to be a thoroughbred then you need to eat like one. It needn’t be expensive, just common sense. Rough rule of thumb – if your Grandparents didn’t eat it then you don’t either.

Hemaview - This is a brilliant tool to pick up nutritional deficiencies, oxidative stress, inflammation and liver stress via a live blood analysis. Quite often it will pick up things that even Einstein himself might have missed! For those of you who have had one it is good to have these done regularly at first to monitor your progress. For the rest of us DP Herbals recommends a six monthly health check.

In summary I would recommend getting a “review” before winter truly hits. Already people are starting to exhibit coughs and colds so get in order now. Remain strong for your family, friends and colleagues and stay in order.
